Magan is the name of the ancient region that is now modern day Oman and UAE. It is a landscape of extraordinary contrasts: rugged and arid mountains, vast seas of sand, thousands of miles of stunning coastline, harsh salt-pan plains, and even a seasonal Khareef (monsoon) that transforms the Dhofar region into a lush green paradise for a few months each year. The culture is rich and the people are kind. It is such a privilege to have lived and worked in Oman.
