Tea shops are ubiquitous in Oman. As you roll up and catch the attendant’s eye, simply extend your thumb and index finger. Moments later they will arrive at your vehicle with three or four ounces of an aromatic milky-sweet tea concoction. While the recipes will vary, the protocol and the 100 baisa price (26 cents) are always the same.
